Dr. Sergei Dyda is a Postdoctoral Scholar under Chao-Chin Yang at The University of Alabama. He uses numerical methods to study accretion and outflows in astrophysical disks and compact objects. He has a broad range of research interests and his past work includes young stars (T Tauri), massive stars, X-ray binaries (XRBs), cataclysmic variables (CVs) and active galactic nuclei (AGN).
